RESTAURANTS IN DOWNTOWN DENVER

Hi there, fellas!

As you all might know, Denver’s dining scene is constantly in flux. Tourists and visitors often wonder where to grab a great bite while in town. Where should you head if you’re looking for culinary experience? Well, I’m here to tell you: look no further than Downtown Denver! It’s where the best restaurants, cafes, bakeries and bars in Denver are hiding.

Of all the restaurants near me in Denver, I’ve made a list of top 5. Scroll down to check out my top 5 restaurants in Downtown Denver.

CUBA CUBA CAFÉ & BAR

A highly unique Caribbean restaurant, this place shows Colorado’s strong Latin American roots. The tropical vibe and outdoor patio make you feel like you walked into someone’s cozy home. Two converted residential spaces connected by a small corridor, filled with wooden tables. It’s an amazingly authentic Cuban experience, with very gentle staff.

Don’t miss the Mojito Happy Hour from Monday to Thursday (5 pm – 6:15 pm). If it’s your first time here, the slow-roasted, tender, delicious pork is a must! Pescado Tropical and Camarones al Coco are also worth the try.

This is a great place. I hangout here with my Denver web design buddies at least once every fortnight.

EUCLID HALL BAR AND KITCHEN

Located right around the corner from Rioja in Euclid Hall near our Denver SEOoffice, this hip spot focuses on creative pub-food and a vast beverage selection. It’s a pretty large multi-story open floor space. They offer a immense beer selection and cool happy hour specials. I recommend ordering the Lamb Loco Moco, the sushi rice on the bottom is toasted on the sides. Chips and Dip is the best appetizer in the menu. Also, the Pad Thai Pigtails are to die for.

Euclid Hall is among few dining options open until midnight in Denver. Service is outstanding. Plus, this restaurant is named after a Greek mathematician. It can’t get much cooler than that!

PANZANO

“Chi mangia bene, vive bene.” Panzano’s motto condenses the dining experience in this place. The elegant decor creates an inviting atmosphere. Music plays at a pleasant volume, perfect for conversation. It makes Panzano an ideal choice for romantic dates or business dinners. Their flavors and ingredients are predominantly from Northern Italy. I recommend the Scaloppine di Vitello; it’s saucy and meaty. Caprese salads are large and divine. Their Cavolini di Bruxelles taste fantastic too!

Panzano is utterly my favorite Happy Hour spot in Downtown Denver (2:30 pm – pm). The cocktail menu is tremendous (try Cucumber Mint Mule). Make sure you get there by 5 pm on popular nights because it gets crowded.

CAPITAL GRILLE

This restaurant in Downtown is a 10/10. Capital Grille is, in fact, the highest rated steakhouse in Denver. Expect incredible, tasty, refreshing drinks and a sophisticated ambiance. They do a fantastic job in seasoning their steaks. The Tuna Tartare is terrific, and it comes with three different dips. The wine selection is broad, with something perfect for every meal.

Prepare yourself for a memorable evening of fine dining. Capital Grille can be a bit pricey, but it’s truly worthy of even the most discerning palates. Don’t miss out on it!

SUSHI SASA

As a sushi lover, I’m always looking for fresh ingredients and excellent service. And Sushi Sasa exceeded those expectations. It’s one of the most exquisite restaurants in Downtown Denver offering traditional Japanese cuisine. Their offerings are quite diverse. The bentos provide a particular variety of flavors and textures. There’s just no going wrong here – everything on the menu is delicious!

The atmosphere is minimalistic, exotic and zen-like. It allows the food to be the primary focus. With Sushi Sasa, you’re not just shelling out for innovative cuisine, but for the fabulous atmosphere as well. I also loved the unisex restrooms, way to promote gender inclusivity! This is the right spot for a business lunch or a pleasant night out with your folks.

Well, that should be more than enough to get you going for now!
