Five of the Best Beaches in Miami

When you hear the word Miami, what is the first thing that comes to your mind? For me, it is miles and miles of sandy beaches with crystal clear, turquoise waters. Beaches in Miami have been featured in movies and TV shows forever, and inspired tons of artists to write stormy romances and exciting adventures.

Today, we are offering intel in the form of a list of the best beaches you will find in the Magic City.

South Pointe Beach

South Pointe, as its name suggests, is the southernmost point in Miami Beach. It is perfect for a family day out. Besides the dreamy beach line, you will find a park for kids to play, a dog area, a store, some water fountains, and a pier where you can find a wealth of fishing supplies, and the pier itself was beautifully designed with an artistic streak.

We have inspired and motivated business owners, entrepreneurs, and professionals around the world for the past few years, and we’ve helped nearly 2,000 clients grow their businesses, online and offline. However, we realized that we couldn’t help everyone. and the truth is not everyone is our match made in heaven. Therefore, we only accept new clients after an extensive screening process that helps us determine whether we will be a good fit for each other.

Delray Beach

A small town and the namesake beach are great spots for people looking to escape the Miami Beach buzz.

Located just north of Boca Raton, you will find a charming little town by the sea. Its mile and a half beach front is perfect for sunbathing, swimming and building sand castles. This beach has the advantage that it is hidden behind dense shrubs, giving the illusion of being secluded but at the same time close enough to the town so you can get a drink in any of the bars on Atlantic Avenue or Ocean Boulevard. You know what I sometimes also take my Miami SEO and Miami web design clients, such is the peacefulness of this place.

You can also check out the shops, seafood restaurants and the singular architecture found on Atlantic Avenue once the sun has set.

Haulover beach

Haulover beach is located north of Miami Beach and it is perfect if you want to spend a quiet day at the seashore. It has a nude beach area, so you should bear that in mind if you decide to visit.

There is a picnic area, tennis courts, and a dog park. You can also take a stroll through the pedestrian tunnel that leads to Biscayne Bay.

Hollywood beach

If you drive 15 miles north of Miami, you will find Hollywood Beach, a crystal blue, white sand beach with a lot to offer. This shore is perfect if you want to avoid the hustle of the more crowded beaches in the area and enjoy a quiet time for sunbathing. You can go solo or with your family as there are plenty of activities to entertain the kids such a parks, and water equipment rentals.

It has a 2.5-miles boulevard bordering the coastline where you can rollerblade, walk about, or ride your bike.

Along the seaside you will also find a wide array of restaurants and shops in case you are in the mood for a bite to eat or if you forgot to bring sunscreen!

Key Biscayne

If you want a reprieve from Miami Beach, Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park in Key Biscayne is a great option. Once there, you will find a beautiful lighthouse, which happens to be one of the oldest buildings in Miami, and a Café where you can have a delicious meal. Besides basking in the sun, you can also go fishing, explore the waters on a kayak, do some windsurfing, and hydro biking.

If you want to have a picnic, you can use one of the picnic pavilions available for visitors.

If you feel like talking a walk, there is a mangrove trail to the north and nature trails on the west of the park.

They also have a free guided tour of the Cape Florida Lighthouse that takes place at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. every Thursday and Monday. The tour will let you access the top of the lighthouse where you will enjoy the beautiful view of Key Biscayne.

Well, that should be more than enough to get you going for now!
