There are already multiple metaverses out there and many new ones in line. Facebook’s metaverse was earlier released for everyone in the US and Canada. It provides a virtual reality experience through a gaming app called Horizon Worlds. For now, the game is free to download and anyone can play using an avatar. There are several other metaverses offering many exciting features along with the ability to access the virtual universe, connect and interact with people virtually, play games, attend events, buy property, invest and do much more. Decentraland, Sandbox, Axie Infinity, Bloktopia, etc. are some popular metaverse platforms out there.
